Created for i19 Gallery call for 20/20 Abstraction, abstract works that reflect on the current state of the world. It is based on a photograph of a ceremonial fire taken at the Namgyal Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Dharamsala, India. I created the abstraction from the original fire photograph, with multiple layering, then added the black and white zip, traditional colors symbol of death in many world cultures.
